During my final semester at college in 2022, I had the privilege of leading the design efforts for Beacons' new Notification Center MVP. As the sole designer assigned to the project, my primary focus was on exploring ideas and incorporating user feedback and competitive analysis. This approach aimed to assist the product team in validating their assumptions and achieving the optimal solution for both users and the business.
Designing a Notification Center for Beacons presented a unique challenge since…well, it didn't exist yet! Given that most users visited the platform to create a "Link in Bio" website, our task was to promptly capture their attention and effectively convey the benefits of receiving in-app notifications.

What is Beacons?
Beacons.ai is a creator economy platform that provides users a whole set of tools, starting with a personalized "Link in Bio" website. Beacons’ arsenal of tools help you accomplish the following: Engage Your Audience, Get Brand Deals, Run Your Business. Beacons provides a provides a convenient way for individuals, especially influencers and content creators, to showcase and direct their audience to their various online platforms and content.
For instance, individuals with a Beacons account can aggregate their online presence by creating a customizable site that contains multiple links to their online content, as well as create digital resumes or Media Kits to secure brand deals. Users also have the ability to track income and calculate potential pricing for creator work.
